Boss is an Outstanding Dual Quality Shorthair. He has a "Big Motor" and a "Ground Eating Gait." He is a Big Running, Hard Charging birddog with Tons of Style and Class on his birds. His Heart, Drive and Quest for birds are second to none. To top it off, he has a Great Nose and he's a Great Bird Finder.
Boss began running in Mid South Region NSTRA trials at the age of 2 years old in 2003. The first year with Boss I recieved the Mid-South "Rookie Handler of the Year" honors for the 2003/2004 season. Along with being a competitive NSTRA dog he is a Wild Birdddog. He has been hunted on Wild birds in TN / KS / TX and handled them with Style and Class.
As a 3 year old Boss was ranked 17th in the Nation for the Purina Top Performance Dog of the Year in NSTRA. Boss earned his 1st NSTRA Championship on Jan. 8th, 2006 in Monticello,Ark. in Fine Fashion with 6 finds and 6 retrieves and was found standing on his 7th find as time ran out. Boss won the 2006-07 Mid South High Point Dog of the Year award in NSTRA. Boss just recently won the 2008-09 NSTRA Mid-South Regional Championship on 4/4/09!!!

Boss is available at Stud to Outstanding Selectively Bred Bitches that are OFA "Good or Excellent" All bitches must have a current Neg. Brucellosis test at the time of breeding.
